Looking for an opportunity to create a genuinely disruptive software product? Come and join this small team of industry experts, Golang developers and PhD educated leaders who have received the backing needed to go from prototype to product development. Automating compliance processes that are critical to the movement of Data across the food-chain within finance, is my client's main objective - and it has never been done like this before. Having witnessed the shortcoming within this journey themselves, having seen exchanges, data-feeds organisations, data accumulators and investment banks alike struggle with the red-tape affiliated - now is the time to offer an industry-wide alternative. Their prototype has already been trialled by a number of IBs, global data providers and exchanges (written in Golang) and now there is the recognition that this product must be made available asap. Experience Familiarity with Golang / Go (1-3 years experience) GRPC or possibly RESTCloud technologies (AWS, GCP) Interest in product iteration, greenfield development, AI and data Microservice development Knowledge of TDD, RSpec/Selenium (ideally within a GO / Golang environment) DevOps mindset, Kubernetes, Docker Nice to have Experience working within a small team and / or a start-up Exposure to a variety of different Open Source technologies Strong communication skills and a "best tool for the job" mentality With GO at the heart of everything this company has achieved so far and at the forefront of their plans moving forward, this is an incredibly rare opportunity for an engineer to take ownership of a product from an early stage and benefit from a steep learning curve amongst a seriously talented team. Automating tasks associated to huge quantities of data sets throughout the day, ranging from PDFs, exchange documentation, emails through to bespoke data via feeds globally - the scope of impact this product can have is almost immeasurable.
