Finance Change Delivery Business Analyst - Business Driver Based ModelsLocation - London Rate - Negotiable Start date - ASAPContract - 6 Months +Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Finance Change Delivery Business Analyst to join their team in the London office. The Strategic Planning & Stress Testing (SP&ST) Transformation Programme in conjunction with Finance on the Cloud (FotC) will deliver a fully aligned and integrated SP&ST function which is embedded into core Prudential and Business Management initiatives The initiative is to establish a new end-to-end SP&ST production capability leveraging Cloud technology, delivering stream-lined processes, centralised production, a new data platform, globally standardised calculation engines, and significantly enhancing analytical capability to drive strategic decision making as part of the SP&ST Business Driver Based Models project The SP&ST Business Driver Based Models project will deliver a fully aligned and integrated forecasting capability as part of the target state operating model for Finance. The initiative will develop new python-based models to forecast a range of business Balance Sheet and P&L line itemsRole PurposeThe role holder will support the workstream/project delivering change, analysis and solution design, working closely with Finance, HOST, Risk and the Global BusinessesThe key objective of this role is to support the requirements, design, testing and implementation of the end-to-end modelling execution platform that will be built on the clients Finance Cloud FrameworkThe role holder should have an understanding of financial modelling and model methodologies across regulatory and business exercises - with knowledge of related activities around model standards, model risk management (MRM) and dataThe role holder will work with a wide spectrum of Finance stakeholders and partners across the business, especially Finance, HOST, Risk and Change. The role holder will work with SP&ST sponsors and functional stakeholders to establish the requirements, design and testing for Business Driver Based Models to support the clients Finance Cloud FrameworkThe role holder will collaborate closely with team members, both locally and across global locations, on analysis, design and development activities, to ensure that analysis and development is conducted in a coordinated and efficient manner. This will be conducted within the clients Business Transformation Framework (BTF) standardsThe role holder must have a good understanding of approaches, tools and techniques for gathering, clarifying and managing complex change projects and selects and applies the right approaches, tools and techniques according to contextThe role holder sets and applies high expectations with respect to quality, use of requirement management systems and document standards. The role holder manages a robust change control process to ensure change requests or changes in scope are identified and controlled Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:Significant experience in the delivery of Change within the Finance/ Technology business domain, including in-depth knowledge of the existing processes and solutions in place for modelling across multiple Risk types and expertise in Cloud technology solutionsRecognised analysis, design, development and testing capabilities. Skilled in modelling and analysisStrong documentation skills, promoting concise and clear written deliverablesExceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus in operational excellenceOutstanding understanding of clients Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectivesRelevant knowledge of the Group's Finance function in multiple locations and systems used by Finance and RiskDetailed understanding of the Finance operating model at Group, business and country levelsAbility to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same timeStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environmentOutstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills Work is performed in a combination of office and home.
