Senior Marketing Manager, Implementation and EngagementLocation - London Rate - Negotiable Start date - ASAPContract - 12 Months Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager, Implementation and Engagement to join their team in the London office. This is a 12-month contract with a quick start for the right candidate.This role is part of the Global Marketing function and is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities across CMB with specific focus on Business Banking. The Senior Marketing Manager, Implementation and Engagement enables the use of technology to drive measurable business growth by harnessing data, automating key parts of the digital journey and empowering marketing managers with a deeper understanding of, and engagement with customers and qualified prospects. This individual will be responsible for launching new technology and enhancements to existing technology in local markets and representing market needs back to the build and enablement team. You will be required to use a combination of agile and waterfall methodologies to deliver value in an iterative way, while meeting all the governance and reporting requirements at the global, regional and market level. Knowledge of data and technology is required in order to effectively work with markets and champion the common capabilities established in the global martech stack. Championing a transformation culture focused on continuous learning, an eagerness to share knowledge and implementation with speed will be critical to success. The role holder is responsible for:Acting as a visible leader to help drive an effective and collaborative transformation culture, encouraging the wider team to embrace new ways of working driven by technology and data.Developing and supporting the launch strategy to support a wide range of stakeholder priorities (e.g. POCs, BB acquisition, Home Markets, etc) in the most efficient wayLeading a pod within the team, prioritising the backlog based on customer value and assigning resources in an effective way using agile methodologyTaking a hands-on approach to launch global data and technology capabilities in local marketsActing as the global champion for market needs, sharing a deep understanding of local requirements with the wider teamLaunching solutions in line with agreed capabilities, budgets and timelinesEmbedding required changes to empower individuals in marketing to fully leverage these capabilities and tools Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications: Collaborative team player with a desire for continual learning and sharing knowledgeDegree level of qualification in a related data, technology and/or digital marketing requiredExperience managing a diverse and global team and managing offshore resources to deliver projects.12 years plus experience delivering end-to-end solutions in a complex, global environmentWide experience across all areas of marketing technologyProven knowledge and experience setting, implementing and managing a global digital marketing technology strategy in a B2B and B2C environment.Experience in data security and complianceExperience in using both agile and waterfall methodologies to deliver large programmes with a wide range of stakeholders; formal qualifications a plusExperience implementing cloud -based SaaS solutionsDemonstrate a passion for testing and learning new approaches to channel usage.Familiarity with current global macro-economic trends and broad knowledge of financial services. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with both technical and nontechnical audiencesProven ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activitiesAbility to be innovative while shaping and communicating new conceptsFlexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situationsResilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere Work is performed in a combination of office and home.
