Our client is a global innovative and market leading software and services company serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing suppliers. They deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, smart energy clients.

Role Overview

The role requires a Technical Programme Manager who will be able to provide the necessary leadership, management skills as well as a hands-on delivery to help support, understand, define as well as transform the IT function in order to meet the needs of the Technical function and any potential customers.

We are looking for someone who has experience in commercial IT software projects & programs at a minimum of a Programme / Senior Project Management role.

Large scale technical programmes.

IT Portfolio management

Act as liaison between UK Technical teams and Customer facing project

stakeholders

Experience of the full IT software development lifecycle.

PRINCE2 / MSP Managing Successful Programmes certification helpful

Experience delivering business transformation and technology change programmes.

A general understanding of good design, development and testing looks like.

An ability to make strong discussions regarding technology resources and suppliers on the project.

Knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices and procedures IT lifecycle.

Ability to follow IMS Policies.

Experience of owning and running programme budgets of c. £1m pr more

Experience of working within the utility sector helpful.
