Data Engineer (SQL Python ETL iOS Android) *Remote Interview WfH* Trailblazing FinTech that have created a cutting-edge mobile platform that is transforming the way people save money is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their high-performing cross-functional team.

The company has a strong appreciation for the value of data, and as a Data Engineer you'll be empowering the company to make mission-critical decisions through collecting, transforming, storing and serving the data across all sectors of the business.

As a Data Engineer you'll help to develop robust ETL pipelines and automated processes for ingesting and processing data, as well as developing, managing and extending data warehouse and data models to create a foundation for internal reporting.

You'll champion security and infrastructure best practice across the data engineering effort, continually seeking ways to improve, advance and optimise processes in data engineering and business intelligence practices.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with SQL and Python skills, and knowledge of AWS cloud platforms. They are currently embarking on a digital transformation from monolith to microservices architecture, so any familiarity/ exposure to this is beneficial.

Requirements:

You have good knowledge of SQL and experience of managing data warehouses

You have knowledge of AWS

You are able to use Python to process data and automate processes

You're confident interacting with databases and web APIs for processing data

You understand reporting and data modelling best practises

You have excellent communication skills and are a proactive team player
