In this role you will be accountable for the development of diagnostic assays for their innovative platform, utilise your knowledge to solve complex technical problems and analyse, interpret and report the results to the technical and non-technical members and collaborators.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a doctorate in Electrochemistry / Analytical Chemistry, have hands on experience within research, detailed knowledge in bio-immunoassay technology and wants to be a part a journey to success with a cutting-edge start-up company.

The Role:

* Accountable for the development of diagnostic assays

*Utilise technical knowledge to solve complex technical problems using experience, knowledge, research and advice

*Analyse, interpret and report results

*Communicate to technical and non-technical team members and external collaborators

*Office based

The Person:

* Doctorate in Electrochemistry / Analytical Chemistry

* Hands-on experience on Electroanalytical Chemistry

*Experimental practice and knowledge of safety in a lab (Risk assessments and COSHH)

*Knowledge of diagnostic bio-immunoassay technology

*Track record in electrochemical point of care assay development
