The position of Senior Software Developer will be based at the Northgate Public Services Bracknell office working on Oracle Web based applications supplied to both local authorities in the UK and to central government clients. Solutions are delivered as software or as hosted SAAS solutions.
This role will be working within one of the development teams where, you will build upon your experience and knowledge across the different aspects of software development using Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. You will work as part of a team on new development projects as well as helping maintain and enhance existing client software applications.
This is a crucial development role that will allow you the ability to learn and enhance you technical skills and interpret client requirements along with building your business domain knowledge.
On a daily basis you will be developing technical solutions across technologies including:
You will take full responsibility for the functionality you develop, ensuring that it delivers on the business needs, engages users, and is maintainable and robust. Writing both functional code and associated unit tests, you will also be reviewing work by others in the development team.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU. Documentary evidence will be required.
