Working for a major contributor in the semiconductor industry, I have an exciting opportunity for an Application / digital verification engineer - to be based in the Grenoble area. You will use your existing verification knowledge to support customers as an application engineer. Applicants must have excellent knowledge of UVM verification and also have excellent communication skills in a customer facing environment. *The role is open to people who have not worked in a support or applications role before, but do have good verification skills and are open to working in a customer facing function.
Job details: You will be part of a small, collaborative team supporting local, regional and international customers to resolve issues, and advise on best practice for new technology and tools for digital verification.  Working closely with R&D, sales and marketing departments, so clear communication skills are an absolute must for day to day duties and customer interaction / specifications. Part of  your role will be regular visits to customer sites, so communication and presentation skills will be a major part of your role. You will be advising customer's engineers on all types of verification process including - functional, formal, assertion-based, system-level, low-power, software etc. Requirements:
Master's Degree in Electronic / Micro-Electronic Engineering or equivalent5+ years' experience in digital Verification.Confident user of Verilog, VHDL System Verilog Experience and knowledge of complex protocols such as USB, PCI, AMBA etcFluent French and English skillsClear, confident communication style and ability to work independentlyStrong understanding of UVM environments, methodology, SoC design flow
