Fast growing global company that drives innovation in mdical diagnostics to create better outcomes for patients.The Reliability Manager will develop and implement the strategy and processes used to perform reliability and life cycle testing of product lines (medical devices). The Reliability Manager will evaluate areas and sub-components that show potential signs of failure prior to the desired life of the product, determine root causes and work with Research & Development (R&D) and Product Management on corrective actions. In addition, you will influence new product development with your findings.Role:Set up a Reliability a testing lab Analyse failures, develop protocols to identify root causesestablish testing to predict mean time to failure of instruments and key sub-componentsUtilise complaint data to confirm accuracy of the predicted mean time to failure.Work with Quality, R&D and Product management to resolve reliability issues and monitor resulting corrective action.Product reliability and testing and analysing of data preferredRequirements/Qualifications: Ideally Degree in Engineering or technical discipline or equivalent practical experienceReliability or product testing experience with some management experience preferred (although this can be flexible)Knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with medical device products would be an advantage - specifically experience with ISO13485/ FDA 21 Part 820 requirements etc.Failing that candidates from regulated manufacturing sectors with transferable skills also considered e.g. aerospace or automotive etc. To find out more about Real please visit www.realstaffing.comReal Staffing, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy| Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
