This employer is one of the UK's leading IT solutions providers with a 30-year track record in supplying, implementing and supporting business software solutions throughout the UK. They provide CAD solutions, Sage Software, IT support and bespoke software development.

They are a friendly, ambitious company, with approx. 40 staff at present and looking for continued growth.

As one of Scotland's premier Sage Business Partners, their Sage department provides top class service to their customers.

They are looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join their team of Sage support consultants.

If you are a recent graduate or are graduating later this year, then they would love to hear from you. They have positions available for an immediate start as well as flexible start dates over the next few months.

Whilst this has traditionally been an office based role, the current team are all working remotely from home. Flexible working arrangements are planned to continue and anyone requiring part time work, home working options or flexible hours is encouraged to apply.

What you get:

- Competitive salary

- Fantastic progression opportunities

- Opportunity to attend official Sage training courses in order to become fully accredited in several Sage software packages

- Pension scheme

- 25 days holidays plus statutory days

- Social events/nights out when restrictions allow

- Flexible working arrangements

What you need:

- Degree level or equivalent education (ideally with Business/ICT/STEM discipline)

- Logical & methodical approach to problem solving

- Excellent communication skills

- Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills

- Readiness to learn new products and processes

- Ability to build relationships and support customers

The Role:

This is a varied and challenging role, covering all aspects of supporting Sage software. You will be providing 1st and 2nd line support to their Sage customer base - dealing with customer issues and requests; troubleshooting and resolving problems; and escalating where necessary to senior staff.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify, investigate and resolve issues within Sage software

- Provide training and support to end users

- Log calls in the tracking system, and provide updates to users

- Write & install bespoke reports - both in Sage Report Designer and using SQL queries

- Test and implement system changes

- Liaise with the team of software developers where required

- Escalate issues to senior consultants and third-party support

The role will often require "out of the box" thinking; and knowledge of the products we sell is key so you can identify (and subsequently assist with) potential sales opportunities.

As well as advancement in the support team, you will also have the opportunity to become involved with other roles in the Sage department - including project implementations, bespoke development & sales - with transfer to one of these roles possible in future.
