Job Title: Landscape Designer, Sales & Project ManagerLocation: Southampton, HampshireSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annumJob type: Full time, Permanent (40 hours a week, Monday - Friday)With 50 years of experience and thousands of delighted customers, the company is highly regarded for its professional service and quality workmanship in garden design, construction and maintenance. Based in Curdridge, Southampton the company's services cover the whole of Hampshire and into the surrounding counties.The Role:They're looking for candidates with sales experience who have a strong interest and passion for Gardening & Design. You would get to work within an experienced De-signer Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.Key Responsibilities:Estimating, Design & Sales - To convert enquiry leads into live projects by:Understanding the client's requirementsProviding clients with solutions for their gardens and presenting these ideas through detailed drawings or computer aided designProviding the clients with competitive quotes, whilst maintaining profit marginSelling their products and servicesAchieving sales budgets and profitsProject Management:Managing staff on site, overseeing workmanshipProviding clear instructionsManaging health & safety and risk assessmentsFollowing company proceduresLiaising with Clients, Suppliers and colleaguesThe Candidate:Experience in sales - confidence in presenting ideas to clientsExperience of working as a Designer and/or have a design qualificationIt is essential that you are computer literate and ideally have experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or sketchupHorticulture knowledge and/or a qualificationGood interpersonal skillsTime management skillsProject Management experienceMeet deadlinesPositive and friendly "can do attitude"FlexibleProblem solvingBenefits:52 weeks work a year20 Days holiday a year plus 8 Bank holidaysTools & Machinery providedPersonal development planTraining & development opportunitiesPlease click on the APPLY button to submit your CV and Cover Letter.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Garden Design, Project Manager, Garden Project Management, Landscaping Solutions Designer, Garden Design Sales, Landscape Garden, Landscape Design Sales, Garden Sales Designer, Garden Designer, Graduate, Landscape Gardener, Gardener may also be considered for this role.
