Technical Writer (IT) (m/f/d) Are you an experienced Technical Writer (m/f) looking for a new project? Our client, a large medical diagnostics company offers an interesting and exciting opportunity. The list of deliverable includes a wide range of printed and electronic documents, such as User Guides, Quick Start Guides, Service Manuals, and award-winning User Assistance.Your role as Technical Writer (IT) (m/f/d) Writes and updates user documentation in English for clients systems, while respecting project requirements and documentation standards.Plans, develops, organises, and edits procedures for user documentationIndependently collects information required to produce the outputs.Cooperates closely with documentation project managers, service personnel, trainers, developers, and other subject matter experts.Organises documentation reviews by subject matter experts, and implements their input.Ensures that quality targets, time lines, and regulatory requirements are respected.Is enthusiastic about technical writing and contributes to frequent discussions aimed at the continuousImprovement of our processes and guidelines.Might manage localisation projects (for software and documentation) in close collaboration with softwareDevelopment, translation agencies and country organisations.Consults or trains vendors and affiliates on software tools and processes used Required skillsProven experience in technical writing, preferably in a diagnostics business environmentProven experience with Adobe Framemaker (XML-based) or a similar authoring toolKnowledge of multimedia tools and processes used in state-of-the-art technical documentationExcellent spoken and written command of English (native speaker or equivalent level).Ability to communicate in an international environment with subject matter experts from differentfunctional areas.Willingness to travel.German understanding, since part of the documentation, will be in German ( also working with German-speaking teams )Experience with Schema ST4 or similar Component Content Management System (Nice to Have)Familiarity with laboratory systems and environments (Nice to Have)Experience in minimalistic and topic-oriented writing (Nice to Have)Familiarity with hardware and software development processes (Nice to Have) Further informationLocation: Zug, SwitzerlandStart date: asap/ May 2021End date: December 2021 Interested?
