Electrical Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery - Somerset Would you like to join a successful company as they embark on their new chapter? A you an electrical design engineer with experience with machinery and using Autocad, Eplan or Solidworks electrical?You will be joining a small team of electrical design engineers as the company expands due to sustained growth over the past 2 years.This is a family run business based in Chard, Somerset who are building upon their secure client base by innovating into new industries and sectors including systems for pharmaceutical, medical and food & beverage industries.

You would primarily be working on brand new systems, right from the point of specification through to liaising with production, as all machines are built and tested on site. You will get to see the results of your work within a short space of time, and be an integral part of the existing design team.

You will be working primarily with AutoCAD, Eplan or Solidworks electrical to produce the electrical designs for PLC-controlled and servo-driven FMCG machinery.

This role will offer you diverse, engaging work in a pleasant team environment where travel is not required. You would benefit from a salary between £30,000 - 40,000, 25 days holiday and paid overtime which is optional but frequently available. You can also enjoy a 12:30pm finish on Fridays.
