Job Title: Industrial / Maintenance ElectricianLocation: HolmfirthSalary: £30,000 to £35,000 pa (plus overtime) dependent on experienceJob Type: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 40 hours)This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an award winning family run dairy based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. The dairy currently manufactures branded chilled products for retail, wholesale and foodservice customers both in the UK and overseas.The dairy is now looking for an Industrial Electrician with maintenance experience to join the team.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding, electrical maintenance and maintenance of dairy plant equipment, pumps, switches and sensors.All candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and must be currently eligible to work in the United Kingdom.All team members are expected to demonstrate a reasonable degree of flexibility, with varying working hours to limit the impact of engineering works on production schedules. Although the hours are predominantly Monday to Friday, some weekend availability is required from time to time. The engineering team all take part in an out of hours cover rota to attend site in the event of a break down or emergency, you will be expected to fit alongside your colleagues within the rotation. Pay for out of hours cover is paid in addition to the salary stated.About you:Experience in electrical installation (5+ years desirable, ideally with some experience in a food manufacturing environment)You must be capable of carrying out problem solving techniques, including electrical fault findingUnderstanding of electrical and P&ID drawingsAbility to carry out and manage small installation projectsUnderstanding of PLC's, SCADA systems and motor VDS control systems (Desirable)Electrical Inspection and Testing 2391 qualification (Desirable)18th Edition regulations qualification (Desirable)IT literateOrganised and able to manage own workloadThis list is not exhaustive and the successful candidate will need to develop skills and adapt to new challenges as the roles develop.
