£55,000 - £60,000 + a car provided for site visits

2 Year Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

An excellent opportunity for an SAP to join a rapidly growing multi utility / energy company with a great team atmosphere on a 2 year FTC with the potential to go permanent.

In this role you will be responsible for the commissioning of substations in the North East and Yorkshire. You'll work alongside a project manager delivering engineering schemes from cradle to grave whilst managing onsite engineering and technical staff in line with compliance and legislation. When not on site you will be required to attend regional offices around Yorkshire and Teeside.

The ideal candidate will have several years' experience working in a similar Senior Engineer, Project Manager, SAP role and experience in power generation sector is especially advantageous, not essential.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an SAP looking for their next immediately available 2 year fixed term contract for a market leading ICP company that has the potential to go permanent for the right person.

The Role:

* Commissioning and operation of electrical plant and equipment on all types of apparatus within an electricity substation

* Liaising from the team at sites to the directors of the company

* Delivering projects from cradle to grave

The Person:

* Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or relevant field

*DNO/NPG authorised

* IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS or other safety related qualification

* Voltage levels required 33kV and below
