Job DescriptionRole Objective: Achieve financial targets by selling the portfolio of SunSystems software solutions and services to existing accounts. Manage client relationships and ensure their commercial success. Contribute to the broader growth of the SunSystems line of business with insights from your accumulated experience in the industry.Team environment: you will be part of a thriving team of sales and marketing professionals. These include specialist account management and new business sales people, with focus on specific product lines. You will be supported by a substantial marketing organisation, including lead generation, product marketing, branding and content generation. As the leading UK VAR for SunSystems, we maintain close links with Infor and therefore have the support of the author to enable us to succeed

Role & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:Deliver profitable sales on a regular basis.Provide first-rate account management and development of key accountsDevelop and maintain a high level of understanding of the Company's proposition and be able to present these in context to the client's requirementDevelop business opportunities within client baseConduct regular client meetingsCreate account plans for larger clientsConduct requirements and discovery meetings with clients and brief pre-sales team to deliver insightful and meaningful demonstrationsDemonstrate and present solution propositions to clients and decision-making teams.Map solution capabilities to business requirements through a professional and ethical business approachProvide quotes, completing RFI/ITT/RFP and coordinated bids as requiredSell the SunSystems solution and other add on products as agreed with the Sales ManagerEngage constructively with the marketing department to develop campaign plans to generate new business opportunitiesKeep our CRM system up to date with all details of prospects, customers, contacts, sales activity and customer feedbackKeep diary system up to date with all activities in or out of the officeProduce realistic/accurate sales forecasts as requiredFollow up all sales opportunities within the agreed target times and update the CRM system in a timely manner accordinglyAttend marketing events such as seminars, exhibitions, user meetings etc to help look after attendees or help with on stand activitiesAttend and contribute constructively to sales meetingsEngage with clients to ensure Contract renewalsProduce high quality, technically and commercially sound quotations / proposals, adhering to company procedures and standardsManage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order, completing all commercial and contractual documentation and monitor the implementation to ensure successful service deliveryAs reasonably requested by the project manager engage with the client during the implementation to ensure that sufficient services are sold or additional services sold if neededAs reasonably requested by the support manager engage with the client to assist in any problem resolution.At all times respond to a client's requests in a courteous and timely mannerTo carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Sales Manager.Represent in a professional and positive manner at all timesBring to the attention of the Sales Manager/Director any suggestions, ideas or information that will improve the company's performance and / or benefit its clients.
