Quality Manager (Precision Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering)Shepton Mallett, Somerset£30,000 - £40,000 + Pension + Holiday + Training Do you have experience in a quality position based within a mechanical engineering or precision manufacturing environment, looking for a stable position where you can make a real impact on the business? This company are a well established engineering company that have many years experience delivering quality products and services to its wide range of clients. They are now looking for a Quality Manager to help them maintain their reputation for high quality products. In this role you will be workshop based, leading the quality department to ensure that all products are manufactured to the companies high standards, along with internal procedures and processes, while also ensuring that products meet the customer's specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar. You will also have experience in a precision engineering environment, or mechanical engineering setting. It would also be beneficial but not required to have a machining background and/or an engineering apprenticeship or similar (such as a HNC in mechanical engineering). The Role:*Monday - Friday - 39 hours*Adapting the procedures and processes of the company*Ensuring the products meet the company's high standards & customer requirements*Developing a culture of continuous improvements and quality focus The Person:*Prior experience as a quality manager or similar*Background in precision engineering environment*Previous experience in machining or an apprenticeship in engineering is beneficial but not required*Commutable from Bath, Trowbridge, Radstock, Frome, Warminster, Devizes, Chippenham, Weston Super Mare, Bristol
