The Azure Subject Matter Expert Role: We're looking for an Azure Subject Matter Expert to join our amazing team of engineers making the adoption of cloud technologies easier through us in the UK and beyond. You will be working on bespoke projects ranging from rollouts, migrations, new infrastructure builds, DevOps builds to name but a few. All with a view of designing and implementing your own ideas and bringing top tier knowledge to a team of like minded technical individuals. You'll be operating at the heart of our newly combined entities - following the recent acquisition by a $500m+ US firm - and will be joining a rapidly growing team bringing a new distribution model to the UK from Denver, Colorado. We've pioneered simplifying the cloud buying journey for more 15,000+ partners by reinventing the IT Distribution model ... and it's yours to take to into our new market. Day to Day in this role includes: + Problem Solving
+ Working closely with our Service Delivery team & Architects
+ Supporting Azure Principal Solution Architect during Pre-Sales activities to build out implementation statements of work
+ Solution Architecture Pre-Sales, deputising in the absence of the Azure Principal Solution Architect
+ Taking part in monthly workshops (2-3 per month)
+ Helping with support ticket escalations
+ Supporting the uplift of professional services and retained clients by uncovering opportunities for additional projects and giving information to our sales team
+ Mentoring juniors that have a passion for all things Azure But we also want all your good human stuff - someone who is "client happy" with great mental processes and a healthy discipline around documentation and process so other people can follow your thinking. You'll carry the same DNA as the rest of our US & UK team with a deep passion for cloud technology and willingness to learn. You'll be ideal for us if you have: + Worked in a project implementation capacity before
+ Extensive knowledge within Azure
+ Background within MSP
+ Curiosity on how to improve businesses with the use of Azure - through a consultative approach and expert knowledge
+ Willingness to learn and collaborate
+ Design and implementation exposure
+ Knowledge of Infrastructure coding methodologies Salary & Benefits: + Family friendly hours
