6 Month Contract to Permanent

£42,000-£47,000 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Are you a Controls Engineer looking for your next immediately available opportunity to work at a prestigious world known theatre production company?Perhaps you have been contracting but are now looking for a position that will turn into a permanent position after the temporary period. My client are offering this fantastic and rare opportunity to an Engineer that possesses a strong industrial Electronic/Control Systems background and has a really good understanding of PLC programs and SCADA. The Role:Working as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standardsWorking with motion sensored controlsDealing with any failures of the stage systems including production sets that need to be investigated and effective repairs carried out in a safe and timely manner, while working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The Candidate:Theatre production controls background preferred however process controlled background will be transferrableInstrumentation and process background Strong knowledge of SCADA packages and the ability to program PLC'sWill have an engineering degree in industrial automation, control systems or similar.
