QA Engineer (JavaScript Cypress Kafka microservices) One of the biggest digital property websites in the UK is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their fast-growing Web Delivery team who support the evolution of their state-of-the-art client and server-side applications.

With over 6.5 billion page views a month and a vast amount of critical data, this is an invaluable opportunity to deliver quality solutions that satisfy millions of end users on one of the most popular, highly visited digital property websites in the UK.

They're seeking a QA Engineer to champion a quality-focused approach across the QA operation. From working with developers to maintain, expand and document automated test frameworks (written in JavaScript) to collaborating with the wider QA community to execute manual and automated regression on new applications, your responsibilities will be diverse, impactful and rewarding.

Currently, the applications are built using SpringBoot and React microservices in conjunction with legacy monolith applications that are written in Java with Oracle DB, ElasticSearch, Kafka and Couchbase.

Requirements:

You have commercial experience as a QA Engineer and solid experience of the testing lifecycle

You have exposure to running/ debugging automated test suites within JavaScript frameworks

You have experience working with microservices

You have Kafka messaging experience

Ideally you can demonstrate an understanding of web-based software and platforms involved

You're a proactive team player who's committed to delivering excellent quality software as part of a collaborative team
