Experis IT is working with a Birmingham based client recruiting for a Junior Software Developer into their growing development team. Junior Software DeveloperPermanentBirmingham (Candidates outside the West Midlands would not be considered)Currently Home Working£25,000 About Our client is looking to recruit a Junior Software Developer to join their team. This position will be working on a variety of different tasks from maintaining websites, reviewing, and writing codes & developing websites using vanilla PHP. The role will entail a basic understanding of coding with PHP and writing scripts from scratch with working knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript (Knowledge of Laravel would be beneficial). The position will be split into front end and back end development with an element of database management and IT security and support. The client's office is based in the city centre of Birmingham, they are currently working from home but will be integrating back into the office in line with government guidelines. The position would be ideal for a developer in the early stages of their development career who has had hands of experience using PHP and is looking for a company that can invest time into training and supporting their staff. Requirements Have a passion and interest in Development.Computer Science Degree (2:1 minimum) or equivalent qualification.Have 1-2 years' experience in a commercial environment.Working knowledge and experience using; PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.Good SQL skills (MySQL).Laravel framework knowledge would be beneficial.Good understanding of network administration and software support issues.A fast learner and a willingness to provide a high level of supportMust be within an easily commutable distance to Birmingham City Centre.
