Job title: Venafi Technical Analyst SSP

Rate: Up to £550 based on relevant experience

Location: Sheffield (remote during Covid restrictions)

Contractors must be willing to engage via Umbrella

Job Description

Key duties include:

You will, carry out the migration of the current Venafi Application to new infrastructure.

You will work Closely with established Project team to understand requirements.

You will design a technical migration strategy and roadmap.

You will document test specifications and carry out functional/non-functional testing.

You will understand and adhere to the clients Change Management Policy.

You will work with relevant teams , including DBAs, Networks, Vendor Support, Application users etc to successfully complete the migration plan.

You will troubleshoot issues found during/after the migration.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Customer/stakeholder focus.

Ability to build strong relationships with Internal/External Key stakeholders, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams.

Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.

Operational effectiveness - delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security, risk and regulatory standards.

Good understanding on IT Infrastructure technical platforms / technologies.

A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change.

Experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform advantageous.

Experience of installing software applications and test tools/scripts.

Strong Documentation skills - requirements, process, procedures, reports, plans and analysis.
