This is a unique opportunity to work with an incredibly experienced team and use your IT infrastructure and technology support expertise to contribute to a vital cause. We want you to use your skills to save our planet as part of the team at the world's leading independent conservation organisation.

As Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of an organisation that is reliant on technology for business operation and innovation and we want you to take responsibility for the design, implementation and maintenance of our network and computing infrastructure. As well as supporting the current network and computing estate, you will research, build and test new applications, systems and services. You will work to reduce operational overheads by consolidating and retiring older applications systems and software too. You will also ensure the effectiveness of our security solutions and threat defence systems, in addition to overseeing relationships with service providers and technical partners. Whether ensuring Backup and IT Disaster Recovery requirements or maintaining detailed systems documentation and managing faults you will play a central role in our success.

Of graduate calibre, you must have Windows Server System and Office 365/Azure experience. You will have been involved in computer networking and possess a working knowledge of Active Directory as well as IaaS/PaaS deployments and right-sizing systems for performance and cost. You will also have a good understanding of the impact of General Data Protection Regulation and Payment Card Industry compliance on technical solutions.  Methodical, you will enjoy troubleshooting problems and acquiring new skills too.
