The role of Network Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the organisations IT systems are fully functional to support bespoke software solutions that help internal and external users. You will also analyse current systems and assets; recommending & implementing solutions and you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships internally as well as externally to optimise the efficiency of the IT operations.
 
The Network Support Engineer will ideally have the following skills/experience:
  Strong organisational and planning skills. Self-motivated and highly professional with ability to lead and take ownership and responsibility. Microsoft Windows Server 2012 & 2016 Office 365 TCP/IP Stack Windows 10 Microsoft Azure Virtualization Hyper-V or VMware Firewall Management Network maintenance experience  
The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for:
  Guiding new employees through our IT systems upon induction, completing GDPR and IT Security training to all employees, ensuring GDPR compliance Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g., user authorisation, firewalls) Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software. Maintain and optimise local company networks and servers. Be responsible for device and password management. Provide support and guidance to employees via help desk. Implementing and recommending network changes to ensure the continual improvement of IT operations & security.
