You will be part of a growing team, with a manager who worked his way up from this position, and who is still hands-on. So you will have a boss who understands the job and can advise and support accordingly.You will be focusing on the planned and reactive maintenance of the electrical systems associated with Solar energy installations; primarily inverters, switchgear and the relevant cabling. The business has a strong safety culture, so you'll be putting your electrical qualifications to good use.You'll get to concentrate on putting your skills in fault-finding and maintenance interventions to good use, as you will be assigned an Operations Officer whose job is to take away those admin burdens and let you do more of the work you enjoy.You'll be covering sites mainly focused around Wiltshire and Hampshire, although you must be prepared to occasionally go further afield. You will receive a company vehicle and fuel card, and you'll have a good deal of autonomy in when and how much of your work is conducted.This is a 40-hour Monday-to-Fri role which is paid door-to-door, with any overtime paid at time-and-a-half. You will be part of a weekend call-out rota every few weeks, but this comes with additional pay too of course.The position will provide a base salary of £30,000 - £35,000 with some flexibility possible if you're already HV authorised.
