Software Development Engineer (Java DevEx SpringBoot Java CI/CD) Pioneering FinTech that is set to transform the future of modern consumer banking is seeking a true tech advocate to make an impact in their Engineering Quality and Developer Experience team.

As a Software Development Engineer you'll be responsible for ensuring the software development lifecycle is as efficient as possible, by promoting continuous delivery and championing cross-functionality and automation.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you'll help to facilitate a culture defined by ownership and continuous improvement, supporting developers to continue to deliver industry-leading value to their clients. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor colleagues at varying levels of experience.

The ideal candidate will have a broad remit of software engineering experience, including developing microservices, with automation knowledge and strong CI/CD experience.

Requirements:

You have a strong understanding of software engineering principles including automation and CI/CD (including Jenkins experience)

You have Java development skills including SpringBoot

You have experience building, testing and deploying microservices platforms using Cloud technologies

You have working knowledge of Kubernetes

You're naturally analytical and are a keen problem solver

You're a proactive team player and motivated by the prospect of effecting company-wide change
