Network Solutions Architect We are looking for a highly skilled network solutions architect to design / architect secure, enterprise networks and create risilient solutions based around the customer requirements. They will predominantly be Cisco based and so strong experience with Cisco Routing, Switching and Security is essential, though other vendor experience would also be beneficialThe role is a mix of Network Design/Architecture and Technical Presales Consultancy - consulting with customers to understand their requirements, preparing technical proposals and tenders and turning the customer needs in to robust solutions. There is also the opportunity to be hands on in some of the engineering if this is your preference. Your experience should ideally include:Cisco ASA, ISE, Firepower, ACS, IPSecNexus / Catalyst Switches and Cisco RoutersKnowledge of a wide range of service provider technologies and routing protocols including BGP, MPLS and VRF. Excellent client facing skills, able to communicate effectively at all levelsIdeally you will have experience working for an IT Solutions provider or come from a Telecoms or ISP environment. Any of the following would be highly beneficial: CCNA/CCNP/CCDA/CCDP/CCIEDemonstrable experience in a Technical Presales Engineer / Consultancy role Knowledge of other network/security vendor technologies, e.g. Fortinet, Checkpoint, Aruba, Palo AltoDriving license is essential for this role as there will be the requirement to visit customers on site at times and you will receive a car allowance in addition to the basic salary, bonus and benefits. You must also be able to obtain DBS clearance.
