Job Title: Materials ManagerLocation: Sheffield / HuntingdonSalary: CompetitiveJob type: Full timeThe Company is an independent company delivering Telecommunications services across Mobile, Fixed and Optical Networks.Job Purpose:The company is currently looking for a pro-active individual who will be accountable for project material management to ensure timely and effective roll-out execution where they have several sources of material supplies.You will be responsible for consolidating roll-out plan and validate BOMs against material availability to maximize weekly rollout and subcontractor capacity utilization. You'll also contribute to HW demand plan, material ordering and stock level optimization.Key tasks:Using rollout plan and associated documentation to provide accurate long-range forecast for radio equipment to orderedManage and have regular meetings with end customer to ensure rollout volumes are understood and translated into equipment / materials requirementsBe the main project interface on matters regarding forecasting of all radio equipment and installation materialsWorking with site solution experts to review TSSR information to validate equipment/materials requirements for each projectEnsures effective and smooth Material Management processes are in place with cooperation of Market OperationsMonitors Order/Inbound/Outbound flow and defining replenishments triggers for materials availabilityStaying abreast of latest design configurations and equipmentBe proactive in resolving issues in supply chain to ensure rollout plan can be maintainedWork closely with rollout managers to understand any changes in rollout plans impacting equipment availabilityThe Candidate:Proven track record in building effective relationships with customersSignificant experience in telecommunication rollout projects and in particular previous experience in a logistics functionUnderstanding on Nokia equipment configurationsGood Microsoft Office skills especially excelPrevious experience of equipment forecasting and call offGood stakeholder management skillsPlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Materials Management, Project Material Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Management, Telecoms Project Manager, Construction Project Manager will also be considered.
