Backend Software Engineer Twyford to £55k

Backend Software Engineer / Python Developer (SQL Django) Pioneering technology company that has created a cutting-edge ticketing API to support entertainment and attraction venues worldwide is seeking an ambitious Backend Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting time to join, as they have recently joined forces with another industry-leading organisation, and this trajectory of growth is set to continue.

They're seeking a Backend Software Engineer to work on an exciting array of self-contained projects, predominantly focusing on backend development in Python for the B2C white-label platform.

You'll gain exposure to a range of modern tools and technologies, including Objective-C, Django, Flash and Sanic/ Async 3. Experience in these technologies is not required, but an aptitude to develop your technical craft is desirable and you'll be supported to learn on the job.

The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient team player, keen to take ownership of projects and get technically-stuck in, with good skills in server-side Python fundamentals and Unix testing, and ideally experience in SQL.

Requirements:

You're degree educated in Computer Science (or closely related technical discipline)

You have strong back end development experience in Python

Ideally you will have some experience with Objective-C

Familiarity with any of the following technologies is beneficial: Flash, Djangp, Sanic, Async 3

You have working knowledge of SQL and unit testing experience

You're a proactive team player who is adept at forming robust working relationships at any level of business
