About The Role The Senior MI Specialist is responsible for the Society's people data strategy and roadmap. The primary purpose of the role is to help the business make great decisions by giving them access to data that's actionable, reliable and compelling. It's fantastic opportunity to work with data that's applied and interesting, and to be a helpful support to the business. You'll be proactive in figuring out what data the business needs to support key people issues and opportunities, and will provide a consistent and high quality service. You'll deliver dynamic reporting solutions, ensuring adherence to governance standards, policies and regulatory guidelines, and will be recognised as a senior expert in People data with substantial domain influence. About You
You'll have an advanced knowledge of Excel and specialist skills in data analysis, report building and some knowledge of data visualisation. You'll be eager to learn what Workday has to offer, and happy to learn proactively and independently from their online resources. You'll be able to use your advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data and present it as meaningful MI to your stakeholders.  You'll use these skills to convey complex ideas simply and tell a story through data, including to a non-People community. You'll use your commercial awareness and inquisitive nature to question, challenge and present new ideas, and will work collaboratively with a range of business functions across the Society, engaging key stakeholders both internally and externally. As part of a virtual community of practice, you'll work with other areas of the business to share best practice and provide technical leadership on complex MI initiatives. You'll communicate as fully and effectively as possible at all levels, tailoring the communication to suit the audience, ensuring messages are fully understood.
