Lead Software Engineer - Ruby on RailsLocation: Manchester - with remote working
Salary: Up to £70,000 with excellent benefits and development
Hours: Full time
Im searching for a fantastic Ruby on Rails developer who is looking for a new challenge at a leading company based in Manchester. They are one of the leading UK travel companies and in a period of heavy growth.
Youll be responsible for working on their flights platform running in Kubernetes and AWS, powered by a CI/CD pipeline. Deploying multiple times a day, you should be comfortable working in a fast moving team.
Experience:
* Technical team leading experience
* Agile methods and technical delivery
* Object-oriented software development experience
* Travel industry experience - not essential
* Experience of automation technologies
* Experience in Ruby and Rails
* Knowledge in networking and web communications
* Knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS
