Graduate/Trainee Construction Engineer

£22-27K plus training plus benefits plus career progression

Are you a BEng Graduate in a Electrical or Power Engineering related course, looking to start a career with a major player in the utilities and power industry.

The role is offering a structured training and development programme across the spectrum of the sector (construction, commissioning, installation etc) Individuals will have the opportunity to work towards gaining NRSWA Supervisory card, CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.

Therefore this is the ideal opportunity for development, whilst earning an excellent salary, before commencing as a full trained Construction Engineer.

The successful candidate will be trained and mentored to manage all aspects of construction management in the construction, installation & commissioning of Contestable Electrical Connections up to 33Kv

The role is very varied but include will include: Developing Construction Method Statements and prepare site instruction.Recording all project variationsCarrying out Site Safety Audits as required.

To apply for the role you should have:

Degree at 2:1 or above in a Electrical or Power Engineering disciplineIdeally working or academic interest and knowledge of the Electrical Distribution industryFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle plus willingness to travel as part of a roleThe role is initially paying £22-27K plus benefits plus early and consistent salary reviews.
