Job DescriptionA rapidly expanding Cloud Technology consultancy are seeking multiple Data Engineers to join their team in response to team growth and numerous project wins.You will be a Data Engineer with experience of working in a cloud environment, ideally Azure, but AWS is also acceptable if you're happy to work predominantly in Azure. You'll have a solid background in object-oriented programming, with most of the team working in Python to solve their problems - if you're a C#, Scala or Java person that's cool too!You'll work on a range of projects within Data Engineering that give you exposure to not only multiple cloud platforms, but also a wide range of customers and use-cases for your solutions. These range from traditional Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions to streaming analytics and enabling real-time analytics of IoT data. Your work can go beyond simply adding 1% to a company's profit margin and have an impact on people's day-to-day lives.In addition, you'll gain experience in wider infrastructure/data architecture that help you become a true expert, by understanding the wider landscape of your solution.The role is remote, with the company operating offices in London and Manchester. You can spend 90% of your time remotely and post-covid can expect to travel to client site around 1 day per week on average. Visiting the office monthly/quarterly is encouraged when circumstances allow for the social aspect of the role.
