Job Title: Product ManagerLocation: Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2FDSalary: Circa £55,000, dependent upon experiencePosition: Full Time, PermanentAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join PRISYM ID based in Wokingham, Berkshire.PRISYM ID is the world leader in labelling software solutions focused on the Life Science and Medical Device industries. PID has built its solutions on many years of experience serving the sectors and is a thought leader in the space.Job Duties:Take ownership of assigned product development and product management projects / initiatives, being self-sufficient in their successful delivery to stakeholder expectations or targetsPerform market research and analysis in target industry sectors, to identify market opportunities, trends and driversDevelop and gain agreement for product strategies and product positioning which will address these market opportunities effectivelyIdentify, collate and manage the specific market and customer requirements for the resulting new products or product enhancementsPrioritise requirements for inclusion in each product release, and to gain stakeholder agreement and investment approval on release contents and timescalesUtilise the product life cycle process to deliver and launch products and services to market, on time and budget, to support the agreed product strategies and roadmapManage products in life to ensure their ongoing success in terms of market share, customer satisfaction and financial performanceEnable the sales and marketing teams to be effective by being a market and product authority /subject matter expert, and aid in the creation of appropriate product documentation, sales tools and collateralRemain up to date on market trends, regulatory changes and competitive alternatives, and to adjust product strategies and roadmaps accordinglyBe a subject matter expert on the functionality, features, and design of the software products within PRISYM ID's portfolioAttend customer meetings to assist with sales opportunities and to obtain customer input and feedback on products and servicesWhere applicable, manage relationships 3rd party technology partners and suppliersManage the end-of-life activities for products as requiredAbout you:Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Experience of being responsible for bringing new B2B software products to market by following a product lifecycle process /New Product Introduction processExperience of leading cross-functional teams in the design and delivery of products in a collaborative mannerExperience of being a subject matter expert for an enterprise software applicationExperience of capturing, analysing and prioritising user needs accuratelyExperience of working with software developers to explain requirements and to reach effective design decisionsExperience of creating product investment business cases and gaining their approvalExperience of generating sales tools and product collateralExperience of developing marketing and product marketing programmesKnowledge of product pricing strategies and modelsExperience of enterprise buying cycles and buyer personasExperience of developing software product licensing and support contractsExperience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or similar regulated market sectors, is desirableQualifications needed for the role:A qualification in a business or technology subjectBackground or experience in software product managementRequired software knowledge:Good knowledge of internet and enterprise technologies and architecturesGood knowledge of database structures (data records and schemas)General knowledge of Cloud Services and TechnologiesPlease click the APPLY button to send your CV for this role.Candidates with previous experience and job titles of; Digital Product Manager, Software Product Manager, Platform Product Manager, Digital Product Coordinator, Product Design Manager, Product Management, Product Marketing Manager, Technical Product Manager will be considered for this role.
