As an Automation Engineer you'll partner with skilled teams of C++ Software Engineers to create a wide range of automation network activities on a small scale, and will also have the chance to take ownership of running the laboratory, accommodating rapid changes and additions to equipment, software, programming and network protocols.

Requirements:

You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in a STEM discipline

You have considerable experience creating and operating Industrial Control Systems and networks

You have good working knowledge of SCADA and PLC Design

You have software / hardware experience with control system vendors, e.g. Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, Mitsubishi, GE

You're motivated by innovation and have a keen interest in AI, Cyber Security (likely to pursue independent research in your own time)

You're a proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
