Junior Full Stack Developer Sunderland to £45k

Junior Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer (C# .Net Java JavaScript AWS) *Remote Interview*. Are you a bright, ambitious Software Developer looking for an opportunity to work with a range of modern technologies across the full stack?

You could be joining a tech driven online gaming company and progressing your career working within a supportive and diverse team environment.

As a Junior Full Stack Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core web based gaming platform as well as building and maintaining RESTful APIs for clients to consume. You'll be working with a diverse range of technologies (but don't need experience with them all!) including C#, ASP.Net Core, RESTful APIs, Java, Node.js, AWS and Terraform amongst others. There are plenty of technical challenges around scalability with around 20,000 players on any one, real-time game at a time.

You'll be joining a collaborative team environment with plenty of learning and career development opportunities, the company has experienced around 30% growth in the past 12 months and have ambitious plans.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join accomplished colleagues in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks and some continued flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.

Requirements:

You're degree educated; Computer Science preferred

You have a good knowledge of at least one OO programming language - C#, Java, C++

You're familiar with web based development with JavaScript / TypeScript; HTML5; WebGL or Unity would also be great to see

You're familiar with Cloud based environments, AWS preferred

You're collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for technology and the aptitude and attitude to pick new things up quickly
