Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Linux Node.js PostgreSQL) Are you a skilled technologist looking for an opportunity to make an impact and accelerate your career in a global cryptocurrency firm?

In this Backend Software Engineer role you'll take ownership of the maintenance and development of the core cryptocurrency/ Blockchain enabled platform.

You'll have the opportunity to partner with key figures across the business including client and product managers to influence technical decisions and contribute to new product ideas, supporting the industry-leading products the company has won significant acclaim for.

With exposure to a diverse range of technologies you'll have plenty of opportunities to refine and develop your technical craft, but will primarily work with Node.js.

*Please note: the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the time being. There is a planned return to the London office when it is safe to do so*.

Requirements:

You have strong backend software development experiences with OO languages (Java, Python, Ruby)

You have some commercial experience with Node.js and are happy to use Node going forward

You're confident handling large datasets; PostgreSQL and Redis

You have experience with Big Data solutions

You have good working knowledge of Linus OS and microservices architectures (and are a DevOps advocate)

You're a proactive communicator who excels when working collaboratively

A genuine interest in cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology is advantageous
