Linux Engineer (DevOps Google Cloud Kubernetes Terraform) *Remote Process* Pioneering technology company that optimises European travel experience for household-name transport brands is seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to join their high-performing Engineering team and support the creations of scalable solutions using K8S, Docker, Terraform and many other modern tools and technologies.

In this Linux Engineer role you'll take ownership of deploying and maintaining critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture, implementing automation and infrastructure as code (IaC), and deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments, as well as supporting the cloud K8S infrastructure in GCP.

You'll act as a key point of technical contact, driving best practice and influencing technical decisions as they happen, as well as brainstorming new ideas to improve development delivery.

You'll be in charge of your own annual training budget which can be used as you see fit on training courses, conferences and certifications to enhance your personal and professional development. You'll join a highly collaborative Agile team who are currently working remotely, with a gradual phase back to the London-based office planned and continued flexibility going forwards.

Requirements:

  • You have strong DevOps experience and expert knowledge of Linux
  • You have GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience, and Kubernetes for containerisation
  • You have good scripting skills with Bash / Golang
  • You have good working knowledge of automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible
  • You have CI/CD tooling experience, including Jenkins and ArgoCD
  • You have a good understanding of networks, plus DNS, SSL, Firewalls, VPC, VPNs
