Fibre Cabling Installation and Testing Engineer who is dynamic and self-motivated with the drive and integrity to deliver a high spec performance is required for a telecommunications / engineering company.

LOCATION: The Company is currently involved in a number of exciting projects in Leeds, the Midlands and surrounding areas, which is where the roles will be based. The Company operates within the UK and Globally with their Head Office based in Coventry and you will need to be flexible and open to travel UK wide if required.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING PATTERNS: Based on a 45 hour working week.  There is a possibility of on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend/out of hours working, as well as a potential night shift option available

KEY REQUIREMENTS:  NRSWA street-works ticket and CSCS card are essential and you should also hold the C&G 3667.2 qualification.  A full UK driving licence is also essential

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As a Fibre Cabling Installation and Testing Engineer the company look for:

Experience of working on internal and external cable and duct installations, both pulled and blown, fibre jointing, fibre testing (OTDR, PON and ILM)

Experience of client installs into business premises

NRSWA street-works ticket is essential

CSCS card (or equivalent) is essential

C&G 3667.2 qualification

Full UK driving licence is essential

Experience in copper jointing and testing would be beneficial, but is not essential

Willingness to undertake security clearance

Willingness to work away from home if required
