A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Power Electronics Controls Engineer to be based in the Southern regions of Germany. The Power Electronics Controls Engineer will be joining an exciting team focused on the research and development of HVDC and MMC topologies and the successful candidate will be responsible for the control & simulation of Power Electronics building blocks. Some other responsibilities of the Power Electronics Controls Engineer include, the design and development of Power Electronics building blocks, running simulations in Matlab, Simulink and Plecs, perform worst-case analysis, writing technical design reports and loss analyses.  The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a proven background in the following: HVDC. Modular Multilevel Converters (MMC). High Voltage Power Electronics.Controls algorithms.MATLAB/Simulink.If this Power Electronics Controls Engineer vacancy is of interest, then please apply with an up-to-date CV and contact details.
