C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer London, City / WfH to £700 p/day

C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Real-time Data C++17 Distributed Systems). Global FinTech is seeking a skilled C++ Developer for 12 month contract.

As a C++ Developer you will design and develop high performance distributed real-time market data applications with a focus on maintainability and scalability. This project is just out of PoC so there's lots of Greenfield development to get involved with and lots of challenges; you'll be collaborating with an accomplished team and working across the full development lifecycle.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process and the ability to work from home; in time you'll be expected to join the team for part of the week in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area.

Requirements:

• Advanced C++ skills; including modern C++ e.g. C++ 17
• Experience of working on large scale, real-time, distributed systems
• Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous event-driven programming
• Python scripting / coding skills
• Good knowledge of Linux OS
• Collaborative with Agile team experience
