Role OverviewWe are currently looking for a Senior QA Officer to join a growing biotechnology company based in London. As the Senior QA Officer you will be responsible for maintaining the QA department functions in compliance with GMP regulations, supporting with audits, change controls, deviations and CAPA's.Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with CMC-Development ,production, business development and continuous improvement to support on going projects.You will be responsible for carrying out internal and external projects.You will work on quality events, deviations, CAPA's, root cause analysis, risk assessments, batch review and validation and Qualification.As the Senior QA Officer you will also be responsible for training junior QA Members, carrying out document control, working on complaints and continuous improvement activities.You will support a number of projects and oversee the junior QA team members.Experience and Education A BSc or MSc in a relevant scientific discipline suitable for the biotechnology industry.Proven industry experience working within a QA team in a biotechnology, biologics or pharmaceutical company working to GMP regulations (ICH II) .Proven experience with QMS, track wise, working on validation and qualification projects, change controls, deviations and CAPA management are all essential to your application.Previous industry experience carrying out audits internally or externally is essential.
