Senior Software Tester / QA Engineer (Manual / Automation) Industry-leading HealthTech organisation that provides a critical rota-planning application for NHS is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Tester / QA to join them in an exciting role that encompasses ownership, autonomy and cutting-edge tech.

Not only will you act as a key point of technical contact as the sole QA, you'll join a unique environment that combines the dynamicity of a start-up with the financial security of a well-backed organisation.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you'll take ownership of driving best test practice and championing quality, for the core product but also across the business' technical operation. The core product is hosted on AWS and is available on both web and mobile platforms. You'll execute manual tests and will work closely with other engineers to automate wherever possible.

You'll have exposure to a diverse, up-to-the-minute tech stack which consists of Ruby on Rails for back end development and Angular 11 on the front end.

Requirements:

You have a strong web application and product testing background

You have advanced knowledge of manual testing techniques

You have a good knowledge of test automation, able to script with Ruby / JavaScript

You're a professional, pragmatic communicator who excels when working collaboratively
