Infrastructure Support Engineer (DevOps Linux Python IaaS) *Remote Process* Global, technology-powered trading organisation is seeking an ambitious Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they enter a new phase of growth.

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in an international team that combines deep expertise in trading, cutting edge technology and operations alongside scientific research to deliver high-quality, uncorrelated returns for their prestigious client base.

In this Infrastructure Support Engineer role you'll join a highly collaborative team responsible for running mission-critical services including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Build and Deploy, Research and Trading; supporting globally distributed services across APAC, EMEA and AMER regions.

Your support will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the company as a whole, as you'll take ownership of providing critical tier 1 and 2 support across all services, prioritising rapid responses to outages and issues to minimise trade flow impact and ensure a highly available environment.

Requirements:

You have commercial experience in an Infrastructure / Technical Support position

You have good working knowledge of Linux / UNIX administration (RHEL; CentOS; OEL preferred)

You have high level scripting ability with Python and bash

You have experience with Infrastructure automation (e.g. Chef, Puppet or Ansible)

You're familiar with TCP/IP, Multicast, tcpdump, clocking (PTP, NTP)

You have knowledge of monitoring infrastructure (e.g. ELK, Prometheus)

You're degree educated in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
