They are seeking an accomplished Proxy Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they embark on an expansion plan across Europe and take lead on the design and development of a next generation SWG proxy.

In this Proxy Engineer role, you'll join a technical, progressive development environment where you'll be exposed to talented peer engineers, ground-breaking web isolation technology and a frequent release product cycle. Not only will you own key hands-on aspects of the SWG proxy, you'll have the opportunity to influence critical technical choices and shape the direction of development.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview an onboarding process during the current social distancing measures, as well as the ability to work from anywhere in the UK remotely. You'll be expected to visit the Bracknell office once quarterly to meet with the team (following the end of social distancing measures)*

Requirements:

You're a highly technical software engineer with strong knowledge of low level C++

You have good knowledge of Linux/ UNIX OS, networking fundamentals, HTTP, SSL encryption/ decryption

You have good knowledge of web fundamentals including HTTP and cookies

You have experience of designing major software components

You are naturally analytical and a keen problem solver

You're a proactive, pragmatic communicator who excels when working collaboratively

You're motivated by innovation and the chance to work on cutting-edge technology
