Lead DevOps Engineer (C# PowerShell TeamCity MSBuild) Are you an accomplished DevOps Engineer looking for an opportunity to accelerate your career in an impactful leadership role?

Industry-leading technology powered organisation is seeking a tech-driven DevOps Engineer to help shape the DevOps operation, company-wide. The organisation specialises in leading-edge software products and consultancy services to help clients improve the supply of samples to their vital research processes in life sciences and healthcare.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer you'll influence critical technical decisions relating to process and architecture and will be primarily responsible for building out the tooling and build and deploy systems.

You'll work closely with development teams across the business and will be responsible for the main product ranges major and minor releases, as well as streamlining the build infrastructure, automating wherever possible and executing improvements to the CI infrastructure, automated error handling and reporting etc.  

You'll proactively lead a small, close-knit team and will take ownership of managing the backlog, facilitating engagement and a cohesive work flow across your team to ensure the DevOps operation is executed optimally.

Requirements:

You have experience with the following DevOps related tools and technologies: TeamCity, MSBuild, PowerShell

You have C# skills (the company is a Microsoft House)

You have CI/CD experience

You have some experience mentoring others (leadership experience not necessary, but you need to be keen to progress your career in a leadership role)

You're a proactive, self-assured communicator who is adept at forming robust working relationships

Experience with Cloud technologies (specifically AWS) and Docker is highly advantageous but not compulsory
