This new role will form part of the Technical Services Team, Operational Support, and will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a team supporting our current and new solutions that will deliver on the Council's digital priorities. We need an ambitious person who is highly technical and has excellent customer focused skills to join the team as a support lead in end user solutions. The successful candidate will be leading and working within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams. You will have proven large-scale support experience, have provided quality assurance and extensive experience in supporting and delivering modern desktop user solutions.
Key technology requirements for the Council for this role include a good knowledge of Citrix Workspace including components like Environment Manager, Xen-App, Xen-Desktop, Application Layering, Modern Windows Operating Systems, App-V, MSIX, SCCM, SCCM Cloud Management Gateway, Office 365, reporting & monitoring. Cloud experience is key to the role as we move more of our services to hosted solutions.
You must be creative, self-motivated and a team player with a ‘can-do' approach and have experience of working in a project methodology.
Currently Homeworking, but there will be a need to be able to attend site as required.
