Java Developer / Software Engineer (Finance Maths OOP). Global trading firm is seeking a standout technologist to join their world-class environment.

As a Java Developer you'll act as a key contributor in the accomplished Pricing & Risk team where you'll design and develop Java-based Pricing & Risk systems across multiple asset classes like Equities, FX, Commodities and other derivatives.

You'll join a dynamic environment where you'll call upon your trading floor experience to respond quickly and efficiently to issues that could cause business outage, partnering closely with Front Office users to ensure the daily operation runs smoothly.

Requirements:

You have strong core Java design and development skills

You have experience working within a financial / trading systems environment

You have good working knowledge of computing fundamentals, object oriented programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems

You're a strong mathematician, naturally analytical and adept at problem-solving

You're a positive team player who excels when working collaboratively and enjoys mentoring others
