Location: Based at Woodbury Centre but may be required to work at any of the College Centres
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week worked in accordance with service requirements which may include evening and Saturday attendance. Purpose and Objectives of Role: To develop and maintain the college website to meet the requirements of the college, including CMS integration. To support the work of the department and ensure an outstanding service is provided to internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner. Further Education is continually developing and you must therefore be flexible to take on changing responsibilities. Specific duties of the role: Design, develop, test and maintain the college website, including full integration with a Content Management System, working to designs provided. Develop and maintain detailed software documentation including design specifications, user guides. Work in liaison with internal and external partners to ensure accurate, relevant and useful information is easily available on the College Website and systems. Contribute to the development, maintenance, testing, documenting and support of web-based computer programs and systems. Develop and deliver in-house training to users of the college's web-based systems to ensure that all designated staff are appropriately trained. Undertake training and professional development to maintain a high level of expertise within the role. Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the College's data and information related procedures and systems. Ensure that the processing and storage of all learner related data is compliant with relevant legislation and is fully secure at all times. Undertake duties as required within the Directorate.
