An unique and exciting opportunity for a Biomedical Engineer looking to join a revolutionary, industry defining company where you'll receive extensive training to become a specialist and progress to manage your own division.Do you have a degree in Biomedical Engineering or a similar subject? Do you have strong Orthopaedic knowledge?This market leading, forward thinking company have exciting plans and are in a period of growth for a new site due to their excellent reputation in providing innovative healthcare solutions. Due to this, they are looking to hire a Biomedical Engineer who can add value and play a vital part in the companies journey and success. In this role you will be a key member of the engineering team where you'll have full accountability for the area you will be managing, liaising with clinicians to design models and devices, segmenting medical images, developing and printing custom 3D models along with developing new business opportunities and representing the business at industry events. As part of the training programme you will be required to stay in Oxford for the first 3 months before heading back to Birmingham to establish your new facility.This role will ideally suit either a junior or experienced Biomedical Engineer with a Bachelors degree who has worked within industry for a minimum of a year with strong anatomical knowledge (ideally orthopaedic/oncology) looking to work for an innovative, market leading company.The Role:Liaising with clinicians to design exact models and devicesExtracting areas of interest using medical segmentation softwareDeveloping and printing custom 3D models3 months training in Oxford£30,000 - £37,000 + Training + Bonus + BenefitsThe Person:Bachelors degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or similar subjectMinimum of one year experience within industryHigh level of anatomical knowledge - Ideally Orthopaedic or OncologyWilling to stay in Oxford for first 3 months of training (accommodation paid for)
